The proof layer is Stoa, real and shipping today. Every action an AI takes is sealed into a receipt anyone can check offline against our open-source verifier, with no account and no trust in us. It uses ES256 signatures, a daily Merkle-root anchor, and an Apache-2.0 verifier with zero dependencies that runs on your machine. Tamper with a single character and the proof breaks. Most audit logs live on the vendor's own servers and ask you to trust them; we flipped it, so the proof travels with the receipt and you run the math yourself in your own browser. Theron is one entity in three parts: a mind that reasons (a council of specialists, hot-swapped per request, substrate-agnostic by design), a body that acts (Hive agents that send the email, run the query, move the record), and a soul that keeps the receipts (Stoa). The harder half is research. We are studying CIP, a way to add capability from verified experience instead of retraining from scratch. Honest status: CIP is proven so far only on a controlled arithmetic task, +63 points. Transfer to language is the experiment we are running now, and we will publish the work, receipts and all.
